Privacy Policy

The short version

• You can play Meter Mele as a guest, with no account. Then we store nothing about you.
• If you sign in with Google to join the leaderboards, we keep your Google account ID, the name you choose to show, and your shift results.
• No ads, no analytics, no tracking, and we never sell your data.
• You can delete your account and every result yourself, in the game.

Playing as a guest

The game runs in your browser. Your settings and progress are saved in your browser's own storage. Nothing about your play is sent to us unless you sign in.

Signing in for the leaderboards

Signing in is optional and only needed to put your name on the leaderboards. When you sign in with Google, Google confirms to us who you are. We use that to keep:

• Your Google account ID, so we can recognise you next time.
• The name shown on the leaderboard. You can change it at any time (3 to 20 characters). Please do not use your full name if you would rather not.
• Your shifts: the score and the details we use to check that a score is genuine, and when you played.

A sign-in token is kept in your browser so you stay signed in. Your leaderboard name and best scores are visible to other players.

Services the game uses

• Cloudflare hosts the game and the leaderboard database. As the host it sees your IP address when your browser connects. See Cloudflare's privacy policy.
• Google provides the sign-in, and the game loads its typefaces from Google Fonts. See Google's privacy policy.

We do not use any other third parties, and we do not sell or share your data.

Deleting your account

Signed in, open your account in the game and choose Delete my account. Your name and every shift you posted are removed for good. You can also sign out at any time, or write to us and we will delete it for you.

Children

Meter Mele is a general-audience game. Children under 13 should play as guests; the leaderboard sign-in is for players 13 and over. If you think a child has signed in, write to us and we will delete the account.
